Ms. Blu is an alumnus of the Old School of R&B, Blues, Rock, Soul and Jazz. Today her music is a fine cocktail of not only her early teachers of soulful music but also the great jazz singers and musicians she has come to know and love. Ms. Blu will be accompanied by her Trio:

Tribute to Duke Ellington Maestro Dr. Gabriel Alegria, conductor Leads his 18 piece orchestra

An evening of Big Band music featuring the unique Duke Ellington song book. Dr Gabriel Alegria conducts this formidable orchestra that pays tribute to one of the greatest American composers of the 20th century. The repertoire will include gems such as "The Mooche," "Harlem Airshaft," and "Anitra's Dance" as well as the shocking sounds of "Daybreak Express..." a piece of music that will make you feel like you are on an old-school train steaming towards Kansas City.
