Dr. Herman Green is a true musical legend and is one of the few remaining titans of jazz's golden age still on this plane.  His work as a bandleader and sideman with Lionel Hampton, Miles David, John Coltrane and a panoply of other jazz pioneers is brilliant and this lone NYC date is a rare chance to experience his magic.
Willie Waldman, a student and collaborator of Dr. Green, is hard at work creating his own legacy, adding his trumpet brilliance to a wide variety of musical projects - from Tupac and Snoop to Kimmock and Banyan, Willie's tone and skills are unmistakable and breathtaking.
Nels Cline is one of most renowned electric guitarists on the scene today.  Having gained fame as the axman for Wilco, Cline regularly returns to his roots as an experimental musician - his  playing is simply ethereal.
NYC's own Gent Treadly has logged thousands of miles and hundreds of dates as a solo artist and supporting act for The Grateful Dead's Vince Welnick and Tom Constanten, The Band's Garth Hudson, Henry Butler and many other luminaries.  This month, GT begins a national tour with New Orleans musical legend Charles Neville.
