Richie Goods

The youngest person ever inducted into the PittsburghJazz Hall of Fame, bassist Richie Goods got an earlystart playing at clubs while still attending the Pittsburghperforming arts high school, CAPA. After graduatingfrom the prestigious jazz program at Berklee College ofMusic, Goods moved to New York City, where hestudied under jazz luminaries Ron Carter and RayBrown. Goods made a name for himself throughrecording and touring with a variety of jazz and popularartists ranging from Louis Hayes and the CannonballAdderley Legacy Band, Mulgrew Miller, Russell Malone,Milt Jackson, The Manhattan Transfer and StanleyTurrentine to Brian McKnight, DJ Jazzy Jeff & theFresh Prince, Whitney Houston, and Christina Aguilera.Goods' lengthy discography even includes Grammyaward-winning and platinum albums of Alicia Keys andCommon. Most recently, Goods has become the newbass player for the world-famous Headhunters. Whennot on tour, he can be found in his studio, producingrecords for his company, RichMan Productions, Inc.His latest project is his debut solo album with hisFusion/Funk band, Nuclear Fusion, recorded live atNew York City's famous Zinc Bar.
