Carlos Darci de Seixas is a primary force of Brazilian music in New York City and is partly responsible for reviving a musical tradition that had been asleep since the time of Bossa Nova in the sixties and seventies. During the last ten years in NYC, Darci has pioneered the 'revival' of the rich traditions of Brazilian music that are so varied in flavor and forms of expression, which include Samba, Funk, Bossa Nova, Axe, Soul and Carnival Music.
